Workshops
Join us at our seasonal and themed workshops where you will have opportunity to try out an activity, maybe learn a new skill and share ideas with other participants. Come on your own or in groups. Any suitability criteria are indicated on details of each workshops.
Friday 13th Febraury 7.30pm
Join us to make a cookie wreath for Valentine’s Day. Using two types of biscuit, you will have a ring and 9 heart shape cookies to decorate to construct your wreath. We will use three different icing techniques. You don’t need to have any skills or experience bu if you do you will be able to use them in your design. Using both fondant and royal icing we will practice embossing, outlining, flooding, painting and wet on wet decorating to create unique cookie wreaths which are entirely edible and completely plant based with no palm oil - I like to think of these cookie wreaths as a love letter to the planet as well as to the recipient :)
Snacks and drinks will be provided during the workshop as well as everything you need to create your cookie wreath. Cookies contain GLUTEN, WHEAT.
The workshop is at St Chad’s Hall, Gifford’s Croft, Lichfield WS13 7HD. Parking is available at the hall.
